Tommy and I went to the Hudson Valley last weekend for Joanna and Gilles wedding. Joanna is a good friend of Tommy's from college, and she met her husband (who's from France) on vacation in Cuba! It's a crazy, beautiful love story. The wedding was small which allowed for long conversations over a six-course meal that included things like lemon prosecco granita and handmade pasta (seriously may have been the best meal of our lives). We ate for five hours but took a break before dessert for pinatas in honor of the ringbearer's birthday!!! If you know me at all, you know how much I love pinatas. There was one for France and one for America - I bet you can't guess which is which.
